The Details

We have put together a plan for a recovery day for the day after the wedding and wanted to share an invite to all our guests. We've thought what better way to recover than to be close to the ocean for a laidback day at the beach/park and so we are hoping we can secure a spot at Yallingup Beach. 

There's plenty of lawn area and a public BBQ to cook up some lunch (please BYO), but there's not a lot of shade or seating so make sure to bring your own chairs and umbrellas if you are needing it!

We will aim to get there around 11am and will be in no rush to leave so if you are running late there is every chance we will still be there.

UPDATE:

We know it is always difficult to decide whether to bring a gift, a card or all of the above to a wedding and so we thought we'd lend a hand. With the help of those trusted for decades to curate and deliver the best registries in the business (Google) we have pulled together a list of gifts that we hope to cherish for many years to come. If you do choose to buy a gift off the registry, don't forget to mark it as "buy from store", we'd hate to end up with 2 Ferrari's (or would we?).

Registry FAQ’s

Q: If we buy off the registry online do we need to collect this gift or do you get it delivered after the wedding?
A: For this particular online registry, guests are responsible for purchasing and collecting the gifts.

Q: Do I need to purchase through the link on the registry?
A: You can purchase online or in store from wherever suits you. We have provided links to popular online stores to help save you time.

Q: What do I do once I have purchased the gift?
A: We would recommend marking gifts as purchased as soon as or prior to making the purchase, to make sure there are no double ups. All you need to do is mark it as "Buy from Store" on whichever gift you choose.

15:15 – Car Park: Caves House Hotel Yallingup (car park between Caves House and Seashells Resort)

15:25 – Car Park: 12 Canal Rocks Rd (please wait in the large carpark)

15:35 – Car Park: Rivendell Winery Estate, Yallingup

We note that some people will need to walk (or drive) to their stops, but please do not be driving after the wedding. If you do need a car to get home after the bus drop-off at the end of the night, please schedule a taxi in advance (1300 68 16 16). The bus will depart Cherubino around midnight and get to the last stop in Busselton roughly 90minutes after departing.

Only those addressed as part of the save the date and email invitation are invited to attend. We are very sorry, but we are keeping our special day as an adult-only occasion.

There is parking at the venue and all we ask is that you leave at the same time as the bus.

Yes you can however you cannot leave your car overnight. There will be signs directing guests where to park.

It can be quite warm in the South-West during the summer months and although we hope for beautiful weather we understand weather can be unpredictable. The wedding is planned to be outside with plenty of opportunity to seek shade and it will most likely be warm during the day, but don't be shocked if it cools off as the sun goes down and the night begins.

We will be hosting drinks and canapés at the cellar door with some lawn games to keep everyone entertained.

If you have any dietary requirements, please outline this in the RSVP.

We ask that you turn off your phones and cameras during the ceremony, but encourage you to take as many memorable snap as you can later in the day/night! All we ask is you refrain from posting these to social media until we have the chance to do this ourselves.
